It all started back in the fine year of 1998, I was confident of my skills, and though I could do anything with a website. Then, I did not know HTML, so I was forced to use a "Geobuilder". It was an extremely simple point and click thing where you dragged and dropped text and pictures. The only bad part was it was very slow. Working for an hour, I could only get up to about half a screen's worth of stuff. I had a little counter, a picture of a castle, and some other useless stuff. I wanted more. I got a book on HTML, which would help me on building, and if I did't use it, it would look great on my resumè. "HTML Extrordinaire", it would say. So I slowly but surely learned the stuff and began to add to my little empire. By this time is was the nice little year of 1999. I put music, graphics, cheats, downloads, and everything you could want to make your page have way too much crud on it. It loaded way too slow, and people didn't like too visit is that much. I started on Jon's Domain Lite, which was a condensed version for those with frail little modems. It was a flop, and it really didn't have very much. For a few months, it remained dorment, forgotten with the millenium, a new year of school, and other stuff that overshadowed the once great site. After the millenium, christmas, and other stuff, I was bored, so I cleared out the old website and salvaged the better parts and started anew. So here on January, 30, 2000, I give you: Jon's Domain!: A History.
